iPhone 6 Rumors and Speculation

What may be different about the iPhone 6?

All we can do is speculate at this point but there are many things to consider in the world of iPhone 6 Rumors.

Processing Power

Dual Core processors are common across all manufacturers now, so is there any legitimacy to the iPhone 6 rumor of a potential quad core processor?

4G Capability on both Verizon & AT&T

Will the iPhone 6 really be the first Apple offering that is 4G on both networks?

Storage Capacity

What about internal storage size or the ability to add an external micro SD card?  32 GB Micro SD Cards are commonplace now, so could we be looking at a 128 GB card in summer 2012 for the iPhone 6?

iPhone 6 Battery Life

How long will the battery last?  This is obviously going to be dependent on the technology used for the battery, but it could have a 24 hour talk time before needed a recharge.

Will the iPhone 6 be the worlds first “green” phone?

The case material of the iPhone 6 could be made of sort sort of recyclable material.  This could be plastic or aluminum.  It seems that each new Apple device gets smaller and sleeker.  The battery could be made of recycled materials, or could be what is known as an ORB.
Taken from Wikipedia:
ORB’s are characterized by an extremely thin profile (0.3 mm), flexibility, and very fast charge time (about 30 seconds), in addition to a relatively high energy density (1 mWh per square cm). The technology is also being welcomed by environmentalists because ORB batteries do not contain any of the heavy metals that pose the problem of proper disposal.

How many Megapixels will the Camera of the iPhone 6 be?

It’s safe to say it will record in 1080p video, probably have some type of HDMI output, and have some type of zoom in / out control.  But will the iPhone 6 have features that rival current high end point and shoot or even current DSLR cameras?

How big will the screen be?

Will the iPhone 6 move up to 4.3 inches to match the current Android phones like the Droid X or will Apple decide to stay with the same size, smaller screen.

These are just rumors at this point, and we’re not certifying any of this as fact – but we’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions on what the iPhone 6 will bring to the table – so please leave a comment!
